Interstate Highways. We are surrounded by good roads. I-64 is 10 minutes south of town, I-95 is 45 minutes east, I-81 is about an hour and a half west, and I-66 is about the same distance north.

Airports. We can easily get to two International airports and quite a few others. Dulles is two hours away to the north, and Richmond is southeast a little over one hour. Charlottesville is a regional airport an hour west, and Louisa's airport is three minutes east of any part of town. ( >>>>> )

Communications. The Central Virginian is our local weekly newspaper.

Trains. AMTRAK runs through Charlottesville. Freight trains run through Louisa.
