I. Business from the Floor
This section of the council meeting provides citizens the
opportunity to discuss matters, which are not listed
on the printed agenda. Any person wishing to bring a matter
to Council’s
attention under this section of the agenda should: (1) Come

matter they wish to discuss and what action they would like
the Council to take. Please limit comments to three minutes

III. Public Hearing
The Town of Louisa anticipates submitting a grant application
to the Virginia Department of Transportation for funding a Transportation
Enhancement Act (TEA 21) project to improve Pedestrian Safety.
IV. Old Business
a. Mr. Andrew Kenny requests authorization from the
Town of Louisa to allow a commercial entrance on the 208 Connector.
b. 2007 Comprehensive Plan Update and Planning Commission
recommendation to the Louisa Town Council.
c. Discussion Item: Downtown Streetscape Improvements Phase
II.
V. New Business
a. Consideration of a request to use the Louisa Town Hall
and Arts Center Parking lot for overnight parking for a specific
event.
b. Authorization for traditional Halloween activities.
c. Discussion Item: Delinquent Commercial Landfill Tipping
Fee accounts.
d. Resolution Supporting an Application to VDOT for a TEA
21 grant application.
