Notice: Water Tank Flushing May 3-10

The Town of Louisa will be flushing the 2 above ground storage tanks over the next week. Most residents will not notice any changes in water pressure or volume as the tanks are drained and refilled, however, there may be periods when the pressure may be a bit lower. Pedestrian Improvement Project
Update: September 21, 2012

The 90% plans have been submitted to the Virginia Department of Transportation for both the Downtown and Courthouse Square phases of the project. We expect final comments to be received from VDOT early in the winter.

We are on schedule for a springtime ground breaking.

While we wait for comments from VDOT, we are working on a sequence of construction plan and working out the details for signage and parking during construction.
