Budget Amendment Public Hearing for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Adopted Budget

The Louisa Town Council will hold a public hearing pursuant to § 15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia, regarding a proposed amendment to the FY 2023-2024 Town Budget in the amount of $289,308, which is in excess of 1% of the current budget. The public hearing will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 212 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa, Virginia during the regularly scheduled Council Meeting. The purpose of the amendment is to approve, and appropriate received revenue/ARPA funding/awarded grants and expenses for the following: water and sewer infrastructure upgrades, connections, and repairs; Town Hall equipment upgrades/improvements; Streets and Sidewalks improvements; and Police equipment upgrades.
