In continued efforts to keep Town of Louisa citizens and staff safe during the COVID- 19 Pandemic, certain areas of our office have restricted access.  Please maintain social distance and follow all posted notices once inside the building.  Please wear a face covering or mask at all times, if you are not wearing one, we will assume you have a medical condition that does not allow you to comply with this requirement.

We will still be accepting payments by mail, online, and our drop-off box located at the Town Office Building.

While the building is open, we STRONGLY encourage making payments by mail, online, or in our drop-off box.  If you have a need that requires a meeting with our staff, please call our office at (540) 967-1400 so we can assess the situation and schedule an appointment.  Thank you for your continued efforts to reduce the spread of the virus and if you are experiencing any symptoms, please do not enter the building.

Though the Town does not plan to disconnect water/sewer services at this time, customers will continue to be responsible for payment of their water/sewer utility usage. As always, please feel free to call our office to make any payment arrangements or if you have any other questions that need to be answered by staff.

Online payments can be made on our website at www.louisatown.org. Under the column ‘Quick Links’, click on Online Payments, and then click ‘Pay Online.’ This will take you to another page where you will process your credit card. You do not need to create a Login to pay. Select your payment item (Water/Sewer Utilities, Personal Property taxes, etc.). Fill in all required fields. Your ‘Ticket Number’ is your account number. (If you do not know your account number, please call us and we can provide you with the information.) After filling in all fields, click on ‘Add Item’ and then click ‘Checkout.’ Proceed with your credit card information and click ‘Process Sale.’ We typically receive notifications within 10 minutes that an online payment has been made.

Our drop-off box is located directly behind the entrance to the building, in the garden circle at the front entrance roundabout. We will provide envelopes for you to put your payment in and we will check it multiple times daily.  If you are paying with cash, no change will be returned. The entire amount will be posted to your account. We will mail a receipt to you.
