The Louisa Town Council has appointed Liz Nelson as interim town manager, effective May 1.  Mrs. Nelson was appointed interim Louisa town manager at a special called meeting on April 23, following the council’s acceptance of Tom Filer’s resignation. 

Mrs. Nelson joined the town four years ago as its treasurer.
